The World AIoT Innovation Alliance (WAIA Alliance), organizer of the World Intelligent Technology Expo (WITEX 2027), and the RAIN Alliance, the global organization driving the adoption of RAIN RFID technology, have officially announced a strategic partnership following a high-level business meeting on October 22, 2026.
This landmark collaboration will focus on professional training, conference content, member exhibition support, and global community engagement, with the shared goal of accelerating RAIN RFID adoption and fostering IoT industry growth worldwide.
Key Areas of Cooperation
- Professional RAIN RFID Training at WITEX 2027: The RAIN Alliance will deliver a curated series of on-site training courses tailored for system integrators, solution providers, and end users, equipping the industry with best practices for seamless RAIN RFID deployment.
- Co-Hosted Half-Day RAIN RFID Conference: A dedicated RAIN RFID session will be hosted in the main exhibition hall of WITEX 2027, bridging international and Chinese markets to foster high-level technical exchange and application insights.
- Member Exhibition Support: WITEX 2027 will offer exclusive exhibition benefits and support for RAIN Alliance members, with further details to be announced jointly.
- Joint Promotion and Mutual Branding: Both organizations will leverage their global member networks and media channels to cross-promote training programs and events, featuring reciprocal branding across official materials.
The partnership builds on the strong momentum of the RAIN Alliance, whose recent event in Madrid drew almost 600 attendees and 60+ overseas brands. Building on this success, the RAIN Alliance is set to host its Winter Member Forum in Shenzhen, China, in early December 2026, where leadership from both alliances will meet to finalize operational details of the collaboration.
